Quarterback Jack Samsel looks to Elite 11 Regional following Florida visit

After making an unofficial visit to Florida today, Jack Samsel will attend Sunday’s Elite 11 Regional.

“Well my expectation is to make it to the finals,” he said of the event hosted at Buford High School. “I’m gonna just go out there and relax and throw the ball like I always do. It just depends on if they choose me to go to the finals. It would be great if they did!”

The Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL) quarterback made his second SEC visit in the last week with a trip to Gainesville on Saturday.

“Getting to meet with Head Coach [Jim]  McElwain was great!” Samsel said “Another highlight was Coach McElwain brought me out on the practice field and let me watch the quarterbacks work out and go through their drills. They also have a wonderful campus. But Coach McElwain definitely made me feel at home in the swamp!”

Last Saturday, the 2018 prospect made a trip to LSU.

“I love it in Florida,” he said of the Gators. “Especially the people and coaches there! I just like how they do things! Also, they have a great tradition.”
