Ohio State offers 2017 Inderkum tight end

A few weeks after an unofficial visit to Michigan in early August, Josh Falo landed a scholarship offer from the Wolverine’s most historic rival, Ohio State.

The Buckeyes are now the 24th program to offer the Inderkum (Sacramento, CA) tight end.

On Wednesday, Falo said he plans to visit Columbus (OH) this Fall, but is quick to point out the attention on the high school campaign.

“The expectations are very high,” said the Under Armor All-American. “I’m really focused on the season and making a college decision is not really in mind right now. My expectations are helping the team get to a championship game and winning it. My school has never won one yet, and I want to be on the team that changes that.”

Prior to his trip to Ann Arbor (MI), Falo had taken other unofficial visits to Cal (June, 13 2015), Oregon (April 15), Texas A&M (June 8) and Alabama (July 17). The 2017 prospect received his most recent offers from Arizona State, UCLA, the Ducks, Nebraska, Michigan, Louisville, Washington State, Miami, Arizona, Oklahoma, the Aggies, Arkansas, Southern Cal, Auburn, Illinois and the Crimson Tide.

Falo adds exceptional physicality to the tight end position, especially considering his back ground playing weak side defensive end/outside linebacker. In the receiving game, has deceiving speed that stretches the secondary with natural ball skills. Blocks well at the point of attack and also fits the profile of an H-back and fullback.
