Tennessee offers scholarship to 2018 defensive back

Tre’ Douglas took a visit to Tennessee over the weekend, and is leaving with a scholarship offer.

The Volunteers became the sixth school to offer the 2018 Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) defensive back.

Since receiving an offer from Virginia Tech on Jan. 6, Douglas has been busy during the recruiting process. The incoming junior took a visit to North Carolina (April 9) and received offers from Wake Forest (June 8), Georgia Tech (July 17), Florida (July 22) and Ohio State (July 27). He also went to camps at Wake Forest (June 8), North Carolina (June 9), Georgia Tech (July 17) and Florida (July 22).

As a sophomore a season ago, Douglas provided a presense in the secondary with five interceptions, 43 tackles and 12 pass break-ups. He covers like a corner, hits like a safety and displays the ball skills of a wide receiver.
