Less than a month after receiving a scholarship offer from Texas Tech, Stanley Hackett already has his collegiate future decided.

Just an incoming junior, Hackett announced a verbal commitment to the Red Raiders on Thursday.

The 2018 running back was offered by Texas Tech on July 27, which was his second. The first came from Tulsa on Feb. 3.

As a sophomore a season ago with Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX), Hackett rushed for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns, and displayed a natural ability to get to the outside with a long striding downhill burst. Exceptional catching the ball out of the back field as well, specifically in underneath patterns, hauling in the swing passes and wheel routes.

In addition to his two offers, Hackett has received interest from Houston, Michigan, Texas and Texas A&M.
