
Teammates from Pinkerington Central (OH) took a trip to East Lansing over the weekend.
2017 running back Morgan Ellison and 2018 athlete Xavier Henderson received an up close impression of Michigan State.
Ellison, who currently holds scholarship offers from Ball State, Miami (OH), Ohio, Toledo and Youngstown State, has found himself traveling throughout the midwest, as well as the south, during the off-season.
After receiving a visit from Ohio State defensive coordinator Luke Fickell on May 23, the incoming senior made camp trips to Georgia (June 2), Kentucky (June 4 and July 17), Pitt (June 5), Ohio State (June 14 and July 22) and West Virginia. An offer from Youngstown State came on June 14 with Ohio extending an offer as well the following day.
Since a May 17 visit from Ole Miss tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Maurice Harris, Henderson has received visits from the Buckeyes’ Fickell, as well as Michigan State assistant head coach and co-defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett.
The incoming junior, who holds an offer from the Spartans, went to camps at Michigan State on June 18 and Ohio State on July 22. He also currently holds offers from Boston College, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky, Iowa State, Miami (OH), Ohio, Ole Miss and Toledo.
