Minnesota added its 4th wide receiver of the 2027 recruiting class after Carlos Ferguson announced a verbal commitment on Monday evening.

Ferguson took an official visit to the Twin Cities over the weekend after receiving a scholarship offer from the Golden Gophers in mid-April.

Since the new year, the McDonogh School (MD) prospect received offers from Georgia, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, NC State, UCONN, Delaware, JMU, Louisville and Temple.

He also took trips to Wake Forest and Virginia Tech in February along with JMU and Louisville during April.
