Tate Wallace received a scholarship offer from Minnesota nearly a year ago.

On Sunday, the 2027 linebacker announced a verbal commitment to the Golden Gophers.

The Regina (Iowa City, IA) product took an unofficial visit to the Big Ten program during early April and has an official visit scheduled for later this month.

Since late January, Wallace has added offers from Arizona, Wisconsin, UNLV, Arizona State, Notre Dame and Nebraska.
