Aidan Laughery’s future college will be revealed this week.
After unveiling Iowa, Washington State and in-state Illinois as his top 3 schools during late June, the Gibson City (IL) athlete is scheduled to announce a verbal commitment on Wednesday.
The Cougars extended a scholarship offer to Laughery in May of 2020 prior to spending time at the Pac 12 campus last month.
Illinois re-offered this past February while the Hawkeyes added an offer of their own to the 2022 prospect in April.
He also holds offers from Michigan State, Buffalo, Minnesota, Illinois State and Rutgers.
