Venice area QB showing SEC and PAC 12 interest

College campuses have recently began to become more familiar to Ryan Overstreet beginning in early December.

Just prior to Christmas, the 2020 quarterback made a visit to Washington State after receiving a preferred walk-on offer from the Cougars in November.

This time spent in Pullman led to an additional trip to a Pac 12 school with Oregon hosting Overstreet during late January.

“It was awesome,” he said. “Amazing facilities, the whole town loves that school and a good coaching staff. Easy to see why they won a rose bowl this past year.”

Last weekend, the senior found himself in SEC country to see Ole Miss.

“The visit went great,” he said. “I’d say the staff was the best part. Great people.”

And Overstreet confirmed a chance to see another school within the conference later this off-season.

“Possibly Tennessee, but for the most part, I’m not sure right now.”

Currently, he also holds preferred walk-on offers from Florida State and Southern Illinois.
