Notre Dame hosts freshman all-American QB

A Texas quarterback product considered among the top freshmen at his position in the country made a visit to South Bend on Saturday.

Notre Dame hosted Brennan Storer for its 40-7 win over rival Boston College.

He spoke of some expectations for the trip earlier this week.

“Really just want to check out the campus and get a game day experience out there and visit with the coaches.”

The Fighting Irish became the latest program to show interest towards the 2023 Highland Park (TX) product.

“”It was awesome I really liked the campus,” he said. “Coaching staff had a great impression on me and I like the way they operate the program. I could definitely see myself in that program and I for sure want to visit again sometime in the future.”

This past summer, Kent State extended Storer’s first offer which was followed by ones from Kansas and Illinois State.

He also made trips to Oklahoma as well as SMU and confirmed his upcoming recruiting plans.

“Not really right now,” he said. “High school team in playoffs and I’ve got the fbu adidas freshman all American game in December, so pretty busy.”
