With 120 tackles during his junior season, Mac Harris will likely add a physical presence for USF in his upcoming college career.

The 2020 defensive back prospect provides a skillset similar to the “viper” spot at Michigan.

This position requires traits in run support, multiple levels of pass coverage, and quarterback pressures.

The Bulls defensive coordinator Brian Jean-Mary is inheriting a well rounded prospect.

Harris added a USF offer this past March and went on to see the Tampa area campus later that month.

The Villages Charter School (The Villages, FL) product followed up the visit with two more in-state trips.

One at Miami and the other at FAU.

“I fell in love with the environment and with everything they had to offer me,” he said of the Bulls. “You also can’t go wrong with Charlie Strong as your head coach.”

He also holds scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Bethune-Cookman, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Elon, FAU, FIU, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Kent State, Mercer, Middle Tennessee State, New Hampshire, Ohio, Rutgers, Samford, South Alabama, Troy, Tulane, Virginia and Western Kentucky.
