West Virginia to host QB Walter Simmons

Walter Simmons confirmed plans to visit West Virginia on Friday.

The Mountaineers offered a scholarship this past April.

That same month, the 2020 prospect made trips to Georgia Tech and UCF, both of whom have extended offers of their own.

Simmons is one of eight quarterback’s in the recruiting class to have received a West Virginia offer, including Ohio State commit Kyle McCord (Philadelphia, PA).

This weekend’s time on campus will be the Oakleaf (Orange Park, FL) product’s first visit to Morgantown.

He made a trip to Florida in March and also holds offers from LSU, Virginia Tech, Southern Miss, USF and Valdosta State
