New Orleans area OL ready for Alabama junior day following offer

Of all the SEC scholarship offers Sedrick Van Pran has received so far, Monday’s may have arguably been his biggest to date.

The Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA) offensive lineman became the latest recruit to land one from Alabama.

However, the Crimson Tide currently hold zero commitments along this side of the line of scrimmage with the 2020 class.

Could Van Pran be one of the first to fill this void?

“I believe Alabama is a great school and I like [head coach] Nick Saban a lot,” he said. “But my recruitment is still wide open.”

Van Pran became the fourth offensive guard Alabama offered out of the country’s junior prospects joining Justin Rogers (Oak Park, MI), Andrew Raym (Broken Arrow, OK) and Geirean Hatchett (Ferndale, WA).

At this time, the 2020 prospect confirmed he plans to attend junior day and currently has no other visits scheduled to see other schools with offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, SMU, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Texas State, Tulane and Virginia.
