One of Virginia’s top linebackers recently wrapped up a handful of recruiting trips.

Gaberiel Fuster was at camps hosted by NC State, Maryland and Norfolk State last month.

Earlier in the year, the Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) prospect had spent time seeing Rutgers, USF, FAU and UCF.

Now, Fuster is looking towards the upcoming Fall campaign.

“I’m done going to camps,” he said. “I’m just preparing for the season with my team.”

The incoming junior has yet to schedule college visits for September, October and November and currently holds scholarship offers from in-state Virginia Tech and FAU.

Just over a year ago, Fuster took visits to Blacksburg, Georgia Tech, Alabama, UNC-Charlotte, Virginia and Georgia.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
