Auburn is moving up Brady Ward’s list of college football programs.
A day after an unofficial visit to the SEC school, the St. Paul’s Episcopal (Mobile, AL) offensive lineman currently has the Tigers gaining more of his interest.
“I put Auburn up in the top 3 of schools I’m looking at,” he said. “It was great! The facilities were really nice and I liked seeing a practice from the sidelines.”
The 2020 prospect had the opportunity to meet with head coach Gus Malzahn and offensive line coach J.B. Grimes as well.
“I also really enjoyed spending time with Coach Grimes and Coach Malzahn,” he said. “Grimes is big on technique and fundamentals and I like that. He also talked to me about how they need tackles and how I fit in. I also like that he’s serious with the players but also cuts up and has a good time.”
This past Fall, Ward had taken trips to Mississippi State, Tennessee, in-state programs Alabama and Auburn, and LSU, who extended a scholarship offer during October’s unofficial visit.
Ward found himself back on campus in Baton Rouge last month and also holds offers from Florida, Iowa, Missouri, Mississippi, Memphis, Oregon, South Alabama, Tennessee and Ole Miss.
