Jayden Russell is ready for more visits.
Beginning this weekend, the St. Thomas Aquinas (Lenexa, KS) defensive back will spend time on Minnesota’s campus followed by an in-state trip to Kansas next weekend.
For now, Russell has all focus on the upcoming visit with the Gophers.
“Minnesota is a good program,” said the 2019 prospect, “I’m expecting a turn around soon! The place is going to be so nice since they built a new facility and when I come down they are opening it up.”
Russell received an invite to the Nike Football The Opening camp on Wednesday and landed a scholarship offer from Kent State on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, The Rivals 3 Stripe Camp extended an invite of their own.
His most recent visit came during early December at Iowa State following an offer from Texas State the previous week.
The safety also holds offers from the Cyclones, the Jayhawks, Kansas State and Toledo with unofficial visits to Ames, Manhattan, Iowa and Nebraska this past Fall.
