Bishop Sullivan DB ready for ACC/SEC tilt

The ACC and SEC interest Sheridan Jones received this past Spring looks to be continuing during the current college football season.

Later this month, the Bishop Sullivan Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) cornerback plans to attend a cross conference rivalry outside the state of Virginia when South Carolina hosts Clemson.

“I’m going to that game,” he said.

Jones most recently made an unofficial SEC visit for Alabama’s 41-9 win over Arkansas on Oct. 14.

The 2020 prospect was previously on campus in Tuscaloosa during late-February where the Crimson Tide offered a scholarship, which was followed by Auburn extending an offer of its own the next day.

He went on to land an offer from Georgia in early March and Florida State as well two months later.

There have also been offers from Virginia Tech, Florida, LSU and Tennessee along with Big Ten schools Ohio State, Maryland and Penn State, and Big 12 program West Virginia.
