Penn State offers LSU decommit

Derek Stingley Jr. received his first Power 5 scholarship offer since this past Spring.

During May, the Dunham School (Baton Rouge, LA) cornerback had most recently landed an offer from Texas.

On Wednesday, last season’s Rose Bowl winner Penn State extended an offer of its own to Stingley.

The 2019 prospect originally verbally committed to hometown LSU in early June of 2016.

Last April, Stingley announced a decommitment from the Tigers and went on to be offered by Texas Tech, Georgia and Arkansas.

He also holds offers from Alabama, Florida State, Florida and Tennessee.
