Iowa State became the latest Big 12 program to offer Julon Williams a scholarship after they extended one of their own on Monday.
The Judson (Converse, TX) athlete had most recently been offered from fellow conference members Kansas State during July as well as TCU and Oklahoma State about a month after New Year’s.
Williams also holds offers from Utah, Northwestern, Virginia, Tulane, UTSA, Houston, Colorado State, New Mexico, Southern Miss and Toledo.
Last October, the 2018 prospect made an on-campus trip to in-state Texas.
As a quarterback, Williams displays a feel for zone read concepts in both the run and passing game.
He provides traits out on the perimeter as a wide receiver with natural hands snatching the football and a shifty presence carrying the football.
