During his off-season tour of colleges, Jaden Casey has found himself spending a majority of time in the Pacific Northwest.
So far this summer, the El Camino (Oceanside, CA) quarterback made trips to Pac 12 programs Stanford, Cal, UCLA and Oregon State, Mountain West schools San Diego State, San Diego, Fresno State and San Jose State, as well as Montana of the Big Sky.
“All of these are amazing facilities and programs,” he said. “Just have to go out now and play great team football and earn a shot at one of these great schools.”
Casey also took a trip to the Ivy League with a visit to Columbia, and plans to make a return to the East Coast.
“Working on a trip with my dad,” he said. “Columbia and Yale asked me to come out. Otherwise, just starting to dial in to our team and getting ready for the season.”
Which is likely to include elite competition for El Camino’s football program this upcoming Fall.
“Season coming fast now and we play a Top 200 strength of schedule nationally so it will be amazing for 10 weeks with all good teams,” said the incoming senior. “Team looks great and I have such amazing talent all around the offense. Will be fun to see what we can do together this season.”
