With scholarship offers to 10 tight ends from the 2018 recruiting class, Michigan may have added one of America’s best to its list.
Earlier this week, Luke Ford, who announced a decommitment from Arkansas this past Saturday, landed his fifth Big Ten offer.
The Carterville (Carterville, IL) 2018 prospect has yet to make a trip to Ann Arbor and has plans to return to SEC country with an unofficial visit to Alabama this Saturday, and another to LSU the following weekend.
“Hope all goes well,” he said.
Ford received an offer from Texas on Wednesday along with two more from Auburn and Cal the previous day.
The incoming senior landed a pair of offers from Oregon and Baylor this past Sunday.
Ford also holds offers from Alabama, Army, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Louisville, LSU, Minnesota, NC State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pitt, Rutgers, SIU, Syracuse, Toledo, West Virginia, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan.
