
With scholarship offers from both the SEC and ACC throughout the month of May, Brandon Smith added another from the ACC when Louisville extended one of their own on Friday.
The Louisa County (Mineral, VA) defensive end had most recently landed offers from UNC, NC State, Tennessee, Florida State, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
“Coach [Kevin] Elliott who I spoke with seems to be really nice,” he said of the Cardinals’ graduate assistant. “I know Louisville has a great program as well.”
This past April, Smith made unofficial visits to Maryland, Penn State and Duke, and received offers from the Nittany Lions, Blue Devils and Virginia Tech.
The 2019 prospect has also made unofficial visits to Clemson and Virginia, which extended an offer of its own.
“I will have to discuss with my parents on when we will be able to visit,” he said. “If not this summer, then in the fall.
