Jones talks SEC schools after Georgia trip

Earlier this month, Sheridan Jones received his sixth SEC scholarship offer after Georgia invited the Bishop Catholic Sullivan (Virginia Beach, VA) defensive back to join its program.

On Sunday, Jones made a visit to Athens.

“The facilities are all nice and the coaching staff are really cool people,” he said. “Coach Smart played DB in college at Georgia which is real cool.”

This past February, Jones made a trip to Alabama, where the Crimson Tide offered the 2020 prospect.

“Everything was amazing,” he said. “You can tell why they have one of the best programs in the country.”

Jones also holds SEC offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU and Tennessee along with offers from Charlotte, Maryland and West Virginia.

Next campus trip?

“Maybe Louisville because I will be there for a tournament.”
