Defensive back underclassman building relationship with in-state program

Following up a sophomore season of Tennessee high school football last fall, Quincy Brock-Compton has been gaining college interest within the state.

This most recently came in the form of Conference USA’s Middle Tennessee State.

The Fred J. Page (Franklin, TN) defensive back has attended three camps in Murfreesboro so far.

“It felt like home when I first stepped on their field and looked around,” he said. “It’s a very loving and welcoming school.”

Brock-Compton shared thoughts on the coaching staff, specifically their projection for his position on the field at the next level.

“They talked to me at camp and said they want me to be a cornerback,” he recalled. “But might move me to safety if they need to.”

The 2019 prospect also said he is planning to visit the Pioneer Football League’s Morehead State.

“I’m very interested.”
