Heading into the upcoming Spring and Summer, Tommy Bush considers the fundamentals at his position a priority.
The Samuel Clemens (Schertz, TX) wide receiver looks to focus on individual workouts as opposed to attending camps and campus visits, for now.
“Very busy with training sessions with my wide receiver coach and strength training,” Bush said. “No camps, just working my craft, and strength and conditioning with my coaches. Have not set up a schedule with my parents for visits, but hopefully very soon. Too early really.”
On Thursday, the 2018 prospect landed his ninth SEC scholarship offer from Alabama.
Previous offers from this conference has included Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Tennessee.
“It’s one of a kind,” he said of the Crimson Tide’s football program. “It’s been the standard for all of my middle school and high school football. They are some of the best coaches around and give some of the best teaching.”
Since Notre Dame extended an offer nearly two weeks ago, routine communication from the Fighting Irish has continued to maintain interest from Bush
“The coaching staff is in consistent contact with me whether it’s asking me about my track meet, or just what I am up to,” he said. “Very knowledgeable and have always told me that they would have a great quarterback to get me the ball.”
Other offers have most recently included Virginia Tech, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Miami (FL), Oregon, Minnesota, Nebraska and Florida State.
