Iowa City area wide receiver selects Big Ten program as future college

Two days prior to National Signing Day, Oliver Martin revealed his decision.

The Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA) wide receiver announced a verbal commitment to Michigan on Monday.

After landing a scholarship offer in early July, Martin took an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor on October 1 .

The 2017 prospect also made unofficial trips this past season to hometown Iowa (October 22 and September 3), Notre Dame (September 24) and Michigan State (August 7).

The Spartans offered on June 22 while the Fighting Irish extended an offer of their own on August 17.

Martin also holds offers from the Hawkeyes, Auburn, BYU, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio State, Oregon, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.

He made an official visit with Iowa on December 3.
