Texas offensive lineman makes Big 12 junior day visits; Ready for more trips

A day after spending time at Oklahoma State’s Junior Day, where he landed a scholarship offer from the Cowboys, Rafiti Ghirmai was in Fort Worth for TCU’s Junior Day.

The Wakeland (Frisco, TX) offensive lineman shared his upcoming recruiting plans for the current off-season.

“I have Texas, LSU, SMU and Ohio State junior day visits.”

Since receiving an offer from Texas Tech on December 7, Ghirmai had landed offers from Bowling Green, North Texas, Iowa State, SMU, Tulsa, TCU, Kansas, UCF, Colorado and Texas.

The 2018 prospect made unofficial visits this past fall with trips to Kansas State on October 1, Texas A&M on October 29 and November 12 and Oklahoma on December 3.
