When Michigan hosts Wisconsin this upcoming weekend, Cesar Ruiz will be in attendance at the “big house”.
The IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) center makes his second official visit following a trip to North Carolina for the Tar Heels’ 37-36 ACC opening win over Pitt last Saturday.
Ruiz, who has official visits scheduled with Texas A&M (Oct. 7) and Oklahoma (Dec. 2), is making his fourth trip to Ann Arbor, and first since taking an unofficial visit on April 1.

He received a scholarship offer from the Wolverines on June 25 as well as a visit from assistant coaches Don Brown (defensive coordinator) and Jedd Fisch (passing game coordinator, quarterback coach and wide receivers coach) on May 16.
Since the start of the new year, Ruiz has also made unofficial visits to Maryland (March 28), Rutgers (March 29), Florida (April 21), Auburn (April 22) and Florida State (April 22), while most recently landing scholarship offers from Florida (Jan. 28), LSU (Jan. 29), Virginia (Feb. 10), Ole Miss (Feb. 24), Oklahoma (Feb. 26), UCF (Feb. 29), Georgia (April 5), Georgia Tech (April 27) and Texas A&M (Sept. 8).
The 2017 prospect is a natural fit for a pro-style scheme. With an ability to anchor the middle of the line scrimmage, establish a point of attack and pull to the edge, Ruiz possesses dynamic traits for a power run approach, and protecting the pocket in the passing game.
