Clemson adds 12th verbal commitment for 2017

Jordan Williams announced his college future on Saturday and decided to take the ACC route.

The Frank W. Cox (Virginia Beach, VA) defensive lineman gave a verbal commitment to Clemson.

Since receiving a scholasrhip offer from Alabama on May 7, Williams had a visit from Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson on May 12, offers from the Buckeyes (May 13) South Carolina (May 18) and Oregon (May 20), and visits to Virginia (June 25) and Clemson (July 22).

He currently holds offers from 29 programs and displays the versatility to line up at multiple positions along the line of scrimmage.
