Cedrick Dort talks Kentucky commitment

The SEC received a new addition to the conference for the Class of 2017.

With Cedrick Dort committing to Kentucky on Tuesday afternoon, the Wildcats will inherit a combination of physical traits and ball skills. During his junior season, the Dwyer cornerback displayed the ability to close, cover and tackle.

Now, having his future school decided, Dort looks to his senior year while preparing for the collegiate level.

Which factors went into your decision to commit? I chose them because of the coaching staff. They all see something in me and say I am a “true corner”.

What made the Wildcats the right fit for u? When I saw the new facilities, I fell in love, and couldn’t turn the opportunity down.

What are you expectations for your senior year? One goal, and that’s state with my brothers for the last ride.

Will you be taking visits to Kentucky and any other schools as well? I don’t know yet.
